NEW: More than the number of "hits" these pages are very "sticky" for political junkies who often spend more than an hour going through the now 100's of pages to find the hidden gems and many candidates' "applause lines" -- especially now when most are calling for "change. But to help the more casual web surfer, three new pages (still being developed) bring together the best quotes, uncommon facts, and quotes and uncommon facts by and about George W Bush.
After over 10 years on the web our focus evolved from a spoof of the 1996 presidential campaign to very in depth analyses of events and issues using a unique form of original analysis with excerpts from leading commentators, longer in-depth articles most don't have the time to read, and regular-person letters to the editor. Over the last several years our attention has evolved from reforming the way we finance campaigns to the effects of spending all that money on 30 second television ads that are designed to mis-inform rather than inform -- as well as other fundamental problems with our political system. And so while this web page will remain our new focus and facts and analysis will soon be at The Great Point (www.thegreatpoint.org). Far too often we are ahead of the curve and have to wait for others to catch up. But simply put, in the face of unprecedented dangers and uncertainties, we cannot afford to wait much longer.
